Start practising your carols and jingling those sleigh bells: planning for our annual Carols in the Park is under way.
Pack a picnic rug and head down to Dendy Park on Tuesday 10 December to celebrate the festive season.
There will be a variety of food stalls available to purchase from on the night.
The main concert gets underway at 7.30pm and is headlined by a variety of performers including the Southern Area Concert band, Vocally Wild and Mosaic Choirs.
This fantastic community event will end with a spectacular fireworks finale at 9.30pm.
Parking and transport
Local patrons are encouraged to walk to the venue or car-pool to ease the demand for parking.
Temporary parking restrictions will apply and once parking is full you will be able to drop guests off on Dendy Street near the corner of Breen Drive.
There will be limited amount of disabled parking spaces. Please arrive early and show your disabled parking permit to the parking attendants at the top of Breen Drive.
Is the event accessible?
Carols in the Park has large screens and live captioning. The event also has accessible toilets.
A fireworks display will take place at approximately 9.30pm. This will be subject to weather.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately not. All four-legged friends are asked to stay home as the fireworks and large crowds may scare animals.
