The concept of a lucky charm has a potency that has endured across cultures, religions and timespans. Lucky charm brings together eight contemporary artists from differing cultural backgrounds who explore the intangible and irrational magic that gives objects their perceived power.

Create a lucky charm with Sai Wai Foo
Internationally acclaimed artist Sai Wai Foo will help you make a ‘wish’ charm that will be displayed as part of the Lucky charm exhibition. The workshop will be held at Bayside Gallery.
Sunday 25 November, 1–2pm (kids), 2–3pm (teens), 3–5pm (adults) and Sunday 2 December 1–2pm (kids) & 2.30–4.30pm (adults), $20 for kids and teens, $30 for adults.
