Artist Ebony Truscott will teach you techniques to aid seeing and drawing objects from life with accuracy. She will demonstrate the best practice use of tools for constructing a well-proportioned line drawing in pencil on paper. You’ll work from a variety of still-life objects (fruit, vegetables, flowers, domestic objects) using a methodical approach to drawing. She’ll also share advice on setting up a still-life study at home.
Ebony is a finalist in the 2019 Bayside Acquisitive Art Prize and has taught at the National Gallery of Australia, the University of Melbourne and the Victorian College of the Arts.
