Bayside Christmas Carols in the Park 2023
Bayside Christmas Carols returns to Dendy Park tonight, Tuesday 12 December.
Headline acts Rhonda Burchmore and Richard Thomas will be joined by a stellar support ensemble, including Sean Mills, Annie Jones, 15-year-old singer Zoe Sunday and 20-year-old vocal sensation Paris Sims. The Diamante Duo, aka Violeta and Michael, also add a classic touch to the event.
We are looking forward to hearing your wonderful voices singing along with our performers this evening.

Pre-event activities start at 5.30pm. Fireworks start at 9:30pm (weather permitting).

Carols access information
Parking
There are limited accessible parking spots on site for holders of a valid Accessible Parking Permit. There is an accessible drop off zone on Dendy Street.
There is very limited parking around the park, with temporary restrictions in place. We encourage visitors who can park away from the vicinity to do so. Alternatively, there are a number of public transport options listed below.
Drop off zone
There is an accessible drop off zone on Dendy Street with temporary ramps to get from the street to the footpath. Please let staff know if you require extra space to unload from the rear of the vehicle.
There is a separate drop off zone for accredited taxis and ride share vehicles separate from the accessible drop off zone. If you are using an accessible taxi or rideshare, please advise traffic control to use the accessible drop off zone.
Toilets
There will be a Marveloo portable Changing Places toilet available, next to the pavilion, which will require a MALK key to access.
Toilet blocks are located next to the Athletics Pavilion. There is an accessible toilet behind the pavilion.
Access to the oval
There is a concrete ramp next to the pavilion, accessible parking and Marveloo.
There will be limited matting at the bottom of the ramp next to the pavilion.
Noise
This is a music-based event and will be loud. Music will play out of the speakers throughout the oval.
There will be 8-minute fireworks show which will start promptly at 9.30pm.
Quiet zone
With all the different sounds, smells, and sights to see, the event will also have a quiet zone for anyone needing to retreat to a quiet place. The quiet zone will be available for the duration of the event.
Please head to the information tent on the night if you wish to access this space. Support staff will be available to help assist and direct you to this area.
Crowd
We anticipate 20,000 people at the event. There will be limited space away from other people.
Food and drinks
There will be a variety of food vans at the event to purchase food. The food trucks will be located on the east and west sides of the oval and also along Dendy Street. There are no facilities to heat food up.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, we encourage everyone to use reusable containers.
Public transport
The closest train station is Patterson Station on the Frankston line. It is approximately a 1.4km walk.
There is a bus stop on Nepean Highway on the corner of Dendy Street. To learn more about catching a bus to Carols, please view PTV's North Brighton station to Southland bus route 823 webpage.
Preshow entertainment
There will be preshow family fun between 5.30-7.30 on the oval.
Information tent
There will be an information tent next to the stage.
