Jayneen Sanders is an experienced early years educator, author, publisher and blogger. Jayneen writes children’s books on Body Safety, consent, gender equality, respectful relationships, and social and emotional intelligence. She believes empowering children from an early age makes for empowered teenagers and adults. 

Breaking Down Gender Stereotyping and Why It's Important

  • The reasons why we need gender equality
  • What are the consequences of gender inequality?
  • The harmful effects of gender stereotyping on our children
  • Modelling gender equality is important 
  • Practical ideas to promote gender equality in your home & community 

This session is for parents, guardians and/or educators of children in early years and primary school.
