Volunteer Gardeners

FareShare volunteers work at a large farm in Clayton South on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00am to 11:00am. The volunteers maintain our gardens and grow vegetables to add nutrition to FareShare's delicious, free meals which improve the lives of Victorians in hardship.

Gardening tasks include weeding, mulching, planting, fertilising, harvesting, composting, propagation and pest management.

The work is a good physical workout and volunteers need to be fit and healthy.

Come join a crew of up to 30 volunteers, learn some gardening tips from our qualified horticulturalists / supervisors, connect with others in your community, and make a real difference to people experiencing hardship.
