Live chat and BayBot: here to help you

We've launched live chat across our website to help get your requests resolved.

Whether you're applying for a permit or want an update on an outstanding request, our customer service team are here to help.

Subject to staff availability, live chat will be online during business hours (8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri), ready to resolve your issues, no matter how big or small they might be.

With a satisfaction rate of 95%, our online customers are loving the new chat service, but we're always looking to improve. To rate your chat, simply complete the post-interaction survey after closing your conversation.

Simply click the 'Chat to us' icon in the bottom-right corner of our website and select from your options.

If our team are unavailable, you can chose the 'Text me back' option and we'll message your mobile phone so you can reply at your convenience.

Our virtual assistant, BayBot, is also on hand to help you with more basic requests 24/7.

Based on your feedback, we've made improvements to our virtual assistant, BayBot, to help you when our Customer Service team are not available.

Powered by a Large Language Model, our new virtual assistant can answer your questions based on information available on our website.
