Look out for a rainbow at Peterson Reserve and Cheltenham Recreation Reserve this weekend to celebrate Southern Football Netball League’s Pride Round.
Hampton Football Club and Cheltenham Football Club are joining the first League-wide Pride round at their grounds on Saturday August 12.
Both ovals will be linemarked in the rainbow colours to formally celebrate diversity and to promote inclusion of LGBTI+ communities within the SFNL.
The football clubs will also be providing rainbow laces for players to help promote diversity and inclusion in sport.
The 2017 SFNL Pride Round will see the marquee Pride Shield match played between Division 1 Senior rivals St Kilda City and St Pauls at Peanut Farm Reserve in St Kilda.
