The Martin St, Brighton window just beat finalists Electric Confetti, 407 Bay St Brighton and the Icing Artist, 10 Locinda St, Highett to take out the festive competition ahead of more than 66 other Christmas-loving retailers.
And the 820 voters also went into a draw for their chance to win a $1400 weekend getaway and two jam packed Christmas Hampers.
Think Bloom owner Emily Liu, said she was delighted to be the overall winner.
“It’s a great way to get the retailers and community into the Christmas spirit,” said Emily who first visited Martin Street in early 2016 for a coffee.
“I thought it was a quaint street to enjoy a coffee,” Emily remembered.
Fast forward 18 months and she is now running a Shops on Show competition winning, flourishing flower shop.
Emily, a qualified accountant, left her career to follow her heart and chase her dream of becoming a florist.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
In choosing Think Bloom to take out the grand prize the four person judging panel said: “Think Bloom reflects everything people love about the festive season. It appeals to all age groups and the overall presentation makes it a perfect choice in its Bayside location”.
Judges sifted through the highest polling, top 10 finalists and were unanimous in selecting the winner.
The judges were:

- Chris O’Neil, Bayside City Council Graphic Designer
- 2017 Shops on Show winner – Courtney Matias from The Wooden Hanger
