Help us shape the future of arts and culture in Bayside in 2018 and beyond by telling us what you would like to see and hear more of, both in our gallery and in our streets and open spaces.
This weekend, as part of a large scale research project, some residents will have door knockers drop by to get their views on the sorts of cultural events and future gallery programming that they would like to see.
Conducted by Metropolis Research the project will target more than 400 residents and the results will be combined with existing ideas and the views of others who will be asked to submit their thoughts online from 21 November.
“It’s a clean slate,” says Bayside City Council’s arts and culture co-ordinator Giacomina Pradolin “the more ideas, suggestions and feedback the better.
“The information will be used to help us review Bayside’s Arts and Culture strategy and develop a picture of what the new strategy would look like,” said Ms Pradolin.
“It’s important to keep the great things that residents love and also important to throw open the door to all residents, not just arts and culture people, to find out what they would view as engaging.
“We are interested to know what cultural activities inspire people to head outside of Bayside and to see what are other things that they would like see on their doorstep,”.
You can have your say online at bayside.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay from 21 November to 17 December 2017.
