Bayside City Council will consider the Beaumaris RSL Club as part of a feasibility study for a community hub in Beaumaris Reserve following a request by the Friends of Beaumaris RSL.
The study is currently exploring community requirements for a new single facility to replace three buildings currently housing arts, soccer, tennis and cricket groups.
The proposed inclusion of the Beaumaris RSL club will now be explored as part of this work.
The study is seeking to guide the development of integrated community facilities on the Reserve Road site.
The study includes representatives of the Beaumaris Arts Group, Beaumaris Soccer Club and Beaumaris Community Centre Tennis Club.
Council’s 2017/18 Budget includes an allocation of $30,000 to undertake the Beaumaris Reserve Hub Feasibility Study.
