Community Nursery Gala Day
Come and celebrate the Community Nursery Gala Day on Saturday 14 October from 9am to 2pm🌱
This will be the last chance for 2023 to discover what wonderful indigenous plants will help to turn your garden into a climate tolerant and wildlife friendly space.
All of the volunteers at the nursery are knowledgeable and passionate and can help you discover what wonderful indigenous plants will help to turn your garden into a climate tolerant and wildlife friendly space.
As well as selling to local residents, the nursery also propagates plants for Council use in public spaces - part of our Urban Forest Strategy, Climate Emergency Action Plan and Biodiversity Action Plan.
A reminder that the Bayside Community Nursery will close its doors for public sales on Saturday 28 October 2023 to focus on seed collection, propagating and growing new plants.
Gardens for Wildlife 🦋
We'll also have some special guests, Friends of Bayside, attending the Gala Day. These experienced and qualified volunteers will be available from 10am to 1pm on the day ready to give you advice on how to assist our vulnerable local wildlife through our Gardens for Wildlife program.
