Exercise body and mind at our event-packed Seniors Festival

The fun and learning continue online this week at the Bayside Seniors Healthy Ageing Festival.

We have another packed itinerary with a range of activities and events to get your bodies and minds sparking.

Who doesn’t love to chat about their beloved pet or listen to others’ loving and funny animal tales? Now you can do just that with Sandbelt Toastmasters Club while learning how to captivate an audience and effectively impart your knowledge or experience.

This week is Carers Week (10-16 October) and Alfred Health Carer Services is offering a variety of fun and entertaining online activities.

Learn how to create a cool and comfortable home this summer at a Bayside City Council free webinar or find out about the Silver Salties movement spreading across Australia. This new, low impact, fitness and wellbeing program for seniors is proudly hosted by Sandringham Life Saving Club .

 And to keep your mind and body active, why not try an online class from Hampton Community Centre and Highett Neighbourhood Community House who are also celebrating seniors.

For the history buffs among you, Bayside Library Service has packaged up fascinating stories about Black Rock House , it's remarkable owners and how it was saved for future generations.
