Following your feedback, some testing in the field and a lot of work migrating content, the new site is now live.
What’s new
The design has been revised with a focus on enhanced imagery, quick access to Council news and events and simpler navigation.
Enjoy thorough and positive access to our wonderful Bayside community and services with improved accessibility. The enhanced search capability – thanks to a restyled drop-down bar - ensures you’ll find your way around easier than ever before.
Access to our most popular links and services information has never been more effortless thanks to a home-page redesign. The pages you interact with and leave feedback on most have also been refreshed.
We have also added a new Online Planning Application tracker allowing Bayside residents to view the real-time status of an application and providing an opportunity to make a submission directly from that page.
A fabulous ‘what’s near me’ section gives information on the nearest community services such as schools, aged care centres, and libraries and an enhanced payment feature allows residents to use their AMEX cards in addition to Visa and Mastercard, with access to a greater number of services that can be purchased.
We’re also enhancing the overall experience for users wanting to obtain a parking permit by incorporating an eligibility checker and placing parking requests all in one easy-to-find location.

And it won’t stop here. There is much more to come including a series of interactive maps, such as the bicycle trail maps, to enhance your exploration of Bayside.
