When: Saturday 18 March 2023, 10am-2pm

Bayside City Council have partnered with Zoe Daniel MP, Member for Goldstein to help support Baysiders in creating cleaner, more energy efficient homes. By working together, we can achieve a safe climate and a thriving community.

Bayside City Council’s Climate Emergency Action Plan 2020-2025 aims to work with our community to take climate action and minimise the impacts of climate change. Council adopted a community greenhouse gas emissions reduction target of 75% below 2005 levels by 2030, and net zero by 2035. One of the key areas to achieve this is to facilitate greater uptake of efficient, affordable, renewable energy solutions for Bayside homes.

The expo is open for all – from homeowners to renters, who want to know where to start or which products to consider when creating an energy efficient home, powered by renewable energy. 🔋☀️

A first of its kind in Bayside, the expo will see the launch of Council’s Love Bayside – Go for Zero campaign, showcase expert speakers, trustworthy local businesses and community groups.

Speak directly to trustworthy, local providers and hear from experts in home energy efficiency, electrification, electric vehicles, and GreenPower.

Don’t miss the electric vehicle demonstration and grab a cup of coffee or a scoop of gelato from sustainable Bayside business Little Sky Gelato. The first 300 cups of coffee and 80 scoops of gelato are free! BYO reusable cup. ☕🍦
