Last days to have your say on complaints handling

Consultation closes soon on our draft Complaints Handling Policy.

When a Council service, experience or decision doesn’t meet your expectations, we want to know so we can understand the issue and work with you to find a resolution.

We won't always get it right, so it’s important we have a clear process to ensure all issues and complaints are managed fairly, consistently and openly.

We’ve drafted a new Complaints Handling Policy to improve your experience if you need to raise an issue or make a complaint to Council.

From first contact to timely resolution, the draft Policy sets out a clear four-step process to be followed every time a community member raises an issue with us.

What do you think Council can improve when acknowledging and resolving complaints?

Read the draft Policy and have your say before 31 October 2021.
