From 2 November to 30 November 2020, Metropolis Research will be surveying residents on behalf of Council as the first step in updating Bayside’s Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.
The survey is conducted via telephone and 400 households will be randomly selected to share their experiences.
Information collected will be used to update Council’s four year Health and Wellbeing Strategy to reflect the views of the community and how Council can best support improved wellbeing within Bayside.
The results will join those of other Councils from across Victoria and will be published online as part of Council’s updated Health and Wellbeing Profile in early 2021.
All Metropolis staff will start the phone call by identifying themselves as employees of Metropolis Research and that they are phoning on behalf of Bayside City Council to conduct a short survey about community health and wellbeing.
The phone call will last for approximately 15 minutes and you can choose to remain anonymous. The calls will be conducted during daylight hours on weekdays and weekends to ensure the best opportunity for all residents to participate.
Following the completion of the face-to-face survey, Council will come back to the community in early 2021 to test initial findings and to help develop the first draft.
If you have any concerns in relation to the telephone survey please contact Lauren Waycott during business hours on 9599 4444 or email lwaycott [at] bayside.vic.gov.au
