Have your say on ideas to help us plan for more sustainable transport in Bayside.
With an estimated 20,000 additional cars expected on Bayside streets by 2027, traffic and parking congestion will increase significantly. More road and parking space is not a sustainable solution and this dilemma won’t be easy to solve.
We collected a range of views about transport from the community in late 2017 and have updated our Integrated Transport Strategy to reflect what we heard.
This includes ideas to make it easier and more sustainable to get around by walking, cycling, public transport as well as by car.
Have we got it right?
Copies of the Draft Integrated Transport Strategy are also available at the Bayside City Council Corporate Centre at 76 Royal Avenue, Sandringham or by calling 9599 4601.
Community feedback will be used to finalise the Bayside Integrated Transport Strategy. This sets out Council’s plan to keep Bayside moving.
Consultation closes 5pm 2 April 2018.
