What is the Garage Sale Trail?

Garage Sale Trail is Australia’s biggest weekend of garage sales. It’s happening on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October 2019.

You don’t need to have a garage, just set up in your front yard or join in with your neighbours.

  • community groups and charities

  • get to know your neighbours
  • earn some extra cash or fundraise

How does it work?

Residents interested in organising and hosting a sale on the weekend can register their interest now at garagesaletrail.com.au. You’ll be notified when registrations open in August and be invited to list your garage sale event on the website.  Participants get access to handy resources, tips and guides to make their sale a success, all provided for free.

What does it cost?

Thanks to the support of Bayside City Council the event is free for residents.

Why is council involved?
