Stopping at Southland Station from 26 November

Southland Railway Station will welcome its first train on Sunday 26 November.

Residents are invited to explore the new station and share in a BBQ breakfast and coffee from 9.30am to 11.30am, hosted by Public Transport Victoria, at the forecourt entrance.

Southland Station is on the Frankston line and will be open for normal use from this date.

A new timetable is available online at www.ptv.vic.gov.au/timetables or sign up for travel alerts on MetroNotify.

Metro Trains has provided a case worker to help adjacent residents with any issues or concerns they may have, including the station speaker noise and lighting, unit the end of January 2018.

  • General information and journey planning 1800 800 007 from 6am to midnight and 24 hours on Friday and Saturday.
