Taste of Bayside: Let there be light

Don’t just taste Bayside, see it in a whole new light.

Across two great weeks in November, Bayside landmarks will be brought to life with food-themed projections and light installations in our Taste of Bayside festival.

See a medley of works by artists and by members of our community, projected onto our fabulous hospitality venues and other businesses.

As we emerge safely from lockdown, take a walk around our shopping centres or support local eateries and bars by grabbing a bite or eat at an old favourite, or better still, try somewhere new.

The wonderful light projections can be seen from 11 – 17 November from 8pm to 10:30pm in Brighton and the following week, 18 – 24 November, Beaumaris, Sandringham and Hampton Street will be drenched in colour.

The artists will also show all the works created for Taste of Bayside at Bay St, Brighton (between Cochrane and Main) on Friday 12 November from 8pm to 11pm and in Sandringham Village (between Station and Melrose Streets) on Friday 19 November from 8pm to 11pm.

This fabulous festival will be a boost for local businesses and will be a delicious prelude to Christmas in Bayside and a summer of outdoor events.

Council has lined up a COVID safe season of music, lights, and colour, utilising our beautiful parks, foreshore and other open spaces.
