Vaccination requirements for visitors

We’re moving to a COVID normal status in some Council facilities while continuing to follow Victorian Government COVIDSafe guidelines.

Current Victorian Government COVIDSafe settings mean that all visitors to Bayside libraries and the gallery must be vaccinated and show proof of vaccination to our staff. This is a Victorian Government requirement.

We have recently revised our vaccination policy for visitors to the customer service counter at the Bayside Corporate Centre. Visitors are no longer required to provide proof of vaccination to visit the customer service counter unless you are meeting with staff for more than 15 minutes.

Please do not visit any Council facility if you are unwell, have tested positive for COVID-19 or waiting for results.

If you are unvaccinated

Unvaccinated residents can continue to access Council library and gallery online:

Vaccinations

There are many appointments for vaccinations in and close to Bayside including for boosters and children aged 5-11 years. Find out more about vaccinations

Remember the COVID-19 basics

It’s up to all of us to be COVIDSafe.

This includes practising physical distancing, good hand hygiene, staying home if you feel unwell and getting tested if you have any symptoms. You must wear a mask where required.
