Working for Victoria crew tackles graffiti and litter

Thursday, May 13, 2021

Working for Victoria are back out and about in Bayside tackling graffiti, sanitising high touch points and picking up litter.

Funded entirely by the State Government, the Citywide Service Solutions managed crews are providing these services on top of Council's standard cleaning regime, at no cost to Council ratepayers.

Activity Centres will be a priority for the Working for Victoria team. Sanitising and litter-picking are also top of the list with a focus on graffiti removal from the fencing along Nepean Highway.

The $500 million Working for Victoria initiative is helping Victorian jobseekers find work and employers find workers. This includes people who have lost their jobs and businesses who need workers due to the impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19).
