The 2020 Built Environment Awards are postponed until further notice.

For example a passive solar design, liveable housing design, orientation, ventilation, thermal mass, small footprint, good use of space or a thermal performance assessment rating.
For example using low environmental impact building materials, high efficiency glazing, shading, insulation, draft roofing, low volatile organic compound in paints and/or flooring and other building materials, recycled content.
For example a thermal performance assessment rating, heating and cooling efficiency, hot water system, lighting type, clothes drying facilities or renewable energy.
For example water efficient appliances and fittings (if possible note WELS rating), rainwater collection and use, alternative water supply/reuse (e.g. grey water treatment) or landscape irrigation.
For example drought tolerant plants or veggie patch.
For example bike storage, car share or electric vehicle charge point.
For example onsite organic waste treatment (worm farm, compost heap) or recycling facilities built in (waste separation in kitchen area).
For example sustainable furnishings, storm water management or environmentally sustainable construction that has minimised waste.
