The proposed lease is for a total of 21 years, at a commencement base rental of more than $50,000 (plus GST), yet to be determined by Council’s Property Valuer and subject to annual increases in line with Consumer Price Index Melbourne All Groups (CPI). The permitted use of the premises is for a café / restaurant. Additional Turnover rent would be calculated at 7.5% of gross turnover that exceeds 12.5 times the base rent.
Any person lodging a submission on the proposed lease must do so before 5:00pm Friday 11 October 2019.

Deliver your submission to Bayside City Council Corporate Centre, 76 Royal Avenue, Sandringham VIC 3191.
If a person wishes to be heard in support of their submission, they must clearly indicate so in their submission. This will entitle them to appear in person, or by a person acting on their behalf, before a Special Committee of Council to be held on Tuesday 22 October 2019 at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers, Boxshall Street, Brighton. The meeting will proceed if one or more persons request to be heard in support of their submission.
Any person making a written submission under section 223 of the Act is advised that all submissions and personal information will be managed by Council in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
