Playground upgrades in Bayside

Playgrounds have now reopened for use by up to 10 people and will be available for up to 20 people after 1 June. Find our COVID-19 update here.

Find out about the playgrounds in Bayside which we have recently upgraded to make them more accessible, safe and fun.

From Brighton to Beaumaris, over a 10-year plan we're upgrading all 61 playgrounds around the municipality. Let us know what you think about our new playgrounds via Have Your Say.

Here are some of our playgrounds with aspects of accessibility following their recent upgrades and the projects we're working on...

Dendy Park South Playground

Enter via Dacey Street, Brighton East

The Dendy Park South playground caters for different ages and abilities, carers and also for intergenerational activity by including equipment that allows for adults and children to work together. Adjacent to the playground is a life-sized game of snakes and ladders and the playground includes seating, tables, bins, drinking fountains, toilet facilities and shelter. The playground includes a wheelchair accessible carousel.
