The proposed ground lease is for an initial term of 5 years with options for 5 further terms of 5 years each, for the permitted use of: the conduct of public golf course, golf-related activities including (but not limited to) physio, teaching, training, outdoor fitness programs, administration, café including catering, community garden and golf retailing services. The proposed commencement rent is for $504,000 plus GST per annum with annual CPI increases.
Any person lodging a submission in relation to the proposal must do so before 5:00pm Sunday 26 April 2020.

If a person wishes to be heard in support of their submission, they must clearly indicate so in their submission. This will entitle them to appear in person, or by a person acting on their behalf, before a Special Committee of Council to be held on Wednesday 6 May 2020 at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers, Boxshall Street, Brighton, comprising of 3 Councillors with a minimum of 2 Councillors as a quorum, to hear any submitters that wish to be heard. The meeting will proceed if one or more persons request to be heard in support of their submission.
Any person making a written submission under section 223 of the Act is advised that all submissions and personal information will be managed by Council in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
