Proposed sale of land adjoining 173 Bluff Road, Black Rock (Stage 3)

Bayside City Council (Council) gives notice under section 189 and 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act), that it proposes to sell the land adjoining 51 & 53 Red Bluff Street, Black Rock and 60–62, 4/64 & 5/64 Edward Street, Sandringham; as well as the land adjoining 68 Edward Street, Sandringham and 59 & 61 Red Bluff Street, Black Rock, shown hatched on the below plan.

Council proposes to sell the parcels separately to the adjoining owners of 51 Red Bluff Street, Black Rock and 59 Red Bluff Street, Black Rock, by private treaty for $46,000 plus GST and $6,000 plus GST respectively.

If a person wishes to be heard in support of their submission, they must clearly indicate so in their submission. This will entitle them to appear in person, or by a person acting on their behalf, before a Special Committee of Council to be held on Monday 22 February 2021 at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held at the Council Chamber, Boxshall Street, Brighton, or held remotely via electronic media, and will be livestreamed online at Council’s website:

Any person making a written submission under section 223 of the Act is advised that all submissions and personal information will be managed by Council in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
