Register your child for kindergarten in 2021

The formal period to register for kindergarten 2021 is now closed but you can still register.

We will process your registration once all registrations received during the formal period have been processed.

Please note that there are limited places remaining for community kindergarten 2021. Please contact Family Services (03) 9599 4755 prior to registering to discuss your options.

Children enrolling for a 4-year-old program must turn 4 by April 30 2021 but can commence from the start of the year.

To complete this form you will need

Victorian legislation requires all children to be fully immunised for their age at the time of kindergarten enrolment. Your child’s Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) is now the only form of documentation accepted for the purposes of enrolling a child in an early childhood education and care service and must be provided to the kindergarten to finalise your enrolment.

Parents/carers can print a copy of their child’s Immunisation History Statement from their myGov account

  • call the AIR on phone 1800 653 809
  • visit a Medicare or Centrelink office.

Families who do not hold a Medicare card must call the AIR to request an Immunisation History Statement.

Please note that 4-year-old kindergarten applicants may also be eligible for the Kindergarten Fee Subsidy and 3-year-old kindergarten applicants may be eligible for Early Start Kindergarten. Read the eligibility criteria and advise the kindergarten when finalising your enrollment fees.

Siblings include brothers or sisters from mixed or blended families.
