Register for Gardens for Wildlife 2018/19

We have now reached our limit of 50 households to receive their free Garden Habitat Assessment in 2017/18.

Please register your interest in the Gardens for Wildlife Program for 2018/19 by completing the details below.

What happens after registration?

We will contact you in early 2018 to confirm your details and book in a convenient date and time for your garden assessment.

We will also post out to you the newest edition of Live Bayside Plant Bayside full of wildlife-friendly garden inspiration.

Things that help make a garden for wildlife

  1. A tall mature tree, native to the area
  2. A patch of natural mulch for beetles and worms
  3. A clump of dense shrubs where birds can shelter
  4. Some Nectar plants for honey eaters
  5. A cat-proof birdbath
  6. A frog-friendly pond or bog with unpolluted water
  7. A warm, sheltered corner for lizards
  8. Some daisies for butterflies
