Rose is a theatrical milliner and teacher. Working as milliner for forty years, she started training in the Block Arcade at Stella Long at age 16.
After 10 years, she began working for The Melbourne Theatre Company, all the while working as a freelance milliner for opera, theatre, ballet, film TV mini series and television commercials.
Rose spends her days making hats on her hat press machine for milliners and boutiques.
