About the program
The Youth Services team run a program of exciting activities each school holidays (Tuesdays to Fridays) for young people aged 10 to 17.
All activities are supervised by our qualified Youth Services staff and are mostly based at the Peterson Youth Centre (corner of Highett Road and Peterson Street, Highett).
A 50% discount is available to Bayside young people named on a health care card or equivalent.
Fees start from $30 for Bayside residents and include:
- the activity cost
- transport (excluding public transport)
- healthy snacks and/or lunch (depending on time/length session)
Payment is required at the time of booking, and some activities require additional waivers
We subsidise the program for Bayside residents and students that attend schools in Bayside
For all other bookings, an additional fee of $47 per activity per person applies

All families must register annually to capture important information before bookings may be made.
Registrations may take up to 3–5 business days to process.
Once registered, families will be issued with unique booking codes to use for each holiday period.

When do bookings open and close?
Bookings will open at 10am on Wednesday 28 February 2018 and close at 5pm on Wednesday 21 March 2018.
Some activities require waivers which can be downloaded at the top of the page, completed and emailed to youth_services [at] bayside.vic.gov.au
Pick up and drop off
Unless otherwise stated, drop off and pick ups are at Peterson Youth Centre, Corner Highett Road and Peterson Street, Highett.

Specific needs and disability services
Bayside school holiday program aims to provide an inclusive service for young people. When booking into the program, please provide information regarding your young person’s needs.
Joint Council’s Access for All Abilities (JCAAA)
JCAAA provides funding for extra staff to support participants with additional needs. Participants must be registered with JCAAA prior to making a booking. Call on (03) 9209 6159.
Additional carers and one to one support needs
These can be arranged by their own registered carer through Bayside Respite Services on (03) 9599 4654 or through other approved care service providers. Please notify us if a carer will be attending.
Extra support is available for young people with additional needs through Joint Council's Access for All Abilities (JCAAA) website.
