We will be enforcing strict hygiene and social distancing guidelines.
Do not attend an immunisation appointment if you or your child/children are experiencing cold/flu symptoms or are waiting on a COVID-19 swab result.. Please ring to reschedule your appointment.

Immunisations are important and protect both individuals and communities from contracting diseases. Find out what to bring and what to expect at our free immunisation sessions.
Who can get immunised?
The Bayside immunisation service is free for infants, children, adolescents, adults and special risk groups covered by the the National Immunisation Program (NIP). The Victorian Government also funds the provision of some vaccines that are not included on the NIP.

Influenza vaccine update
Our government funded influenza vaccines are now available.
Influenza vaccinations for children between 6 months of age and up until age 5 can now be administered free of charge at our community immunisation sessions.
We can also offer vaccinations for those over the age of 65 years, and those between 5 and 64 years of age with an underlying medical condition.
Those eligible include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy) and medical conditions that put the individual at risk of severe influenza and its complications.
When and where are the sessions?
We have 5 immunisation sessions per month throughout Bayside.
To facilitate requests during COVID-19 were are now offering some additional appointment times. Please call 9599 4755 to check availability.
Beaumaris
When: First Wednesday of the month from 9am to 11am.
Where: Beaumaris Community Centre, 90 Reserve Road, Beaumaris VIC 3193.
Brighton
When: Second Tuesday of the month from 9am to 11am.
Where: William St Pavilion, 80 William Street, Brighton VIC 3186
Hampton East
When: Second Friday of the month from 9am to 11am.
Where: AW Oliver Pavilion, 2 Little Ave, Hampton East VIC 3188
Sandringham
When: Third Monday of the month from 5.30pm to 7pm.
and
Fourth Saturday of the month from 9am to 11am
Additional openings on 10 April, 15 May, 11 June and 10 July 2021

How long does it take?
This depends on how many people are attending the session. We ask that you wait 15 minutes following the immunisation.
What to bring to your session
If you are coming to see us for the first time, make sure you have your Medicare card (if eligible) and your child’s health book.

All our immunisation sessions are currently strictly appointment only, to adhere to the social distancing rules related COVID-19.

Who performs the immunisation?
They are carried out by registered nurses with further qualifications in immunisation.
