Black Rock Activity Centre offers older residents the opportunity to come together for a social day out full of activities and a 3-course lunch.
With different programs to suit a range of abilities, we also offer a transport service with staff to bring you to the centre and as well as an array of day outings around Victoria.

Our programs offer a large variety of choices, to name just a few, we have arts and crafts, live entertainment, guest speakers and of course, the occasional game of bingo. Our various activities are tailored to our clients' interests and we’re always listening to feedback.
Each week we offer outings to locations throughout Melbourne. The community bus will collect you from your home and return you home at the end of the outings. Outings include lunch with staff will be available to assist with any requests, you will enjoy many happy memories with friends and visit wonderful destinations such as the Yarra Valley, Healesville Sanctuary and the Mulgrave Country Club. We encourage suggestions on locations you would like to visit on our outings.
Larger group outings
Throughout the year we offer you the opportunity to travel a little further afield and enjoy a full-day activity. Fancy a trip to Sorrento on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula? Let us know.
Each week we provide transport to a local venue for lunch. We rotate our lunch outing venues to ensure variety and the chance to taste different menus.
Transport to the centre
Struggling to make it to the Black Rock Activity Centre? We are here to help. We offer a door-to-door service to assist in making getting around simple, easy and comfortable.
In addition to providing transport to the centre, the community buses assist with transporting you in and around the Bayside area. The buses allow residents who are unable to drive or use public transport to maintain their independence and contact with the community. The community bus collects you from your home and stops at prearranged locations such as Southland Shopping Centre, then returns you home at the end of the outing.
