At present, the service standards for planning and building services are as follows.
Processing planning applications
Takes on average from 80 to 100 days from lodgement to a final decision.
Further information and preliminary assessment letters
Take up to 28 days.
Planning and Amenity Committee decisions
Takes an average of 60 days from the end of notice period.
Condition 1 plans for consideration
Take an average of 30 days from lodgement to response. Incorrect plans will incur a fee.
Extension of time and secondary consent requests
Take an average of 30 days from lodgement to response.
Section 29A demolitions
Take an average of 10 days from lodgement to response.
