Somewhere to someone: Mark Forbes and Rowena Meadows

Working within the genre of documentary photography, Bayside-based artists Mark Forbes and Rowena Meadows both find beauty in the everyday.

Meadows chronicles the day to day lives of those around her, capturing poignant fragments of domestic life, whereas Forbes captures secluded moments within the built environment that hold echoes of a past encounter.

Somewhere to someone brings the works of these two artists together in a visual conversation around presence and absence, and the beautiful moments of our lived experience that give us pause and reflection.
