Strengthening Adolescents Against Anxiety

Bayside City Council Youth Services is proud to present a free online webinar with Karen Young, founder of popular website Hey Sigmund and author of best-seller Hey Warrior, a book for young people with anxiety.

Karen is a sought-after international speaker who translates the neuroscience of anxiety into meaningful advice for all ages.

Which topics will be covered in the webinar?

  • The brain and anxiety
  • Supporting young people returning to school in a COVID 19 environment
  • Responding to a young person’s uncertainty
  • Practical parenting strategies and exercises for managing anxiety in adolescents

Who is it for?

This session is for parents or carers of young people aged 12 to 17 who live, go to school, or have a connection to Bayside.

When is it?

The webinar will be available from Tuesday 29 September 7pm - Sunday 4 October, 12pm.

The link to this webinar will be emailed to ticket holders prior to the session.

What if I sign up but can no longer attend?

We only have a limited number of spots available. Therefore if you sign up but can no longer make the webinar please let us know so we can make your space available to somebody else.
