Un-Bored Games Afternoon

Bored in the school holidays? Come down and hang out at our Un-Bored gaming afternoon!

Enjoy free churros and hot chocolates at our cosy hang out space and join in a variety of board games and video games, as well as pool and table tennis. Meet new people and beat the winter blues!

Rock Climbing & Caving

Boy Rock Climbing

Come down to activate for two hours of climbing fun and the opportunity to learn how to go caving! There will be time to eat (BYO lunch) after the activity. This session is available to youth who live, go to school, work or study in Bayside.

Colour Club with artist Noni Drew

Wednesday 29 June

Artist Noni Drew

Join Billilla Artist in Residence, Noni Drew this school holidays to create colourful abstract paper collages using the patterns and shapes found around Billilla house and gardens as inspiration. Participants will be introduced to the basics of colour theory and abstract composition while investigating the geometric abstractions of the 1960s and the cut outs of Henri Matisse. All materials will be provided.

Story Dogs

Story Dogs is a fun and unique reading support program that improves children’s reading and communication skills by children reading to a companion dog and its handler. During this visit, children will hear some stories and meet a Story Dog. The children will be able to ask questions and have an opportunity to interact with the dog at the end of the session. The dog will always be on lead with its handler.
