Bayside engagement forums

Community members:

As part of its commitment to community engagement, Council has established Engagement Forums in the areas of:

  • Environment
  • Recreation and Open Space
  • Arts and Culture

The Forums will work with Council in the ongoing implementation and review of the Bayside 2020 Community Plan. The Community Plan will play a pivotal role in Council’s planning framework, providing guidance for all major plans and providing a community perspective to the process.

The Engagement Forums will work with the Key Priority Areas of the Community Plan to identify opportunities for implementation. They will help undertake a periodic review of the Community Plan as we strive to achieve its Priorities.

An appropriate timetable of meetings will be established for each Forum. In all cases, an Annual Summit will be held to facilitate public participation in the review process.
