What is this form for?
Use this form to submit an online or electronic petition to Bayside City Council.
Before submitting
Step 1)
Make sure you have reviewed the Bayside City Council petition guidelines for creating your e-petition. For assistance, please contact the Governance department on 9599 4444.
Step 2)
Please upload an export of the list of petitioners (including full names, suburbs and postcodes as a minimum) to our ShareFile account. The document should be labelled with the name of your petition (.csv or excel format is preferred). This information is required for verification purposes and will be secured safely and reviewed by a Bayside City Council Governance Officer.
Step 3)
Complete the below form.
What happens next?
Once submitted, the petition will be reviewed by a Council Officer to ensure it meets all requirements, before being presented to the next Ordinary Meeting of Council.
An acknowledgement notice will be issued to the Lead Petitioner to confirm receipt of the petition, the final count of valid signatures, and details of when the petition will be presented to Council.
