Application for Extension of time to lodge Certificate of Pool & Spa Barrier Compliance

Pursuant to regulation 147Z of the Building Regulations 2018, as the owner of the property where the pool or spa is located, I wish to apply to Council for an extension of time to lodge the required Certificate of Pool and Spa Barrier Compliance for the reason below;

I have booked an inspection to have the barrier inspected however the next available inspection date is after the applicable lodgement due date.

I have had the barrier inspected and I am required to carry out works to the barrier in order to have the Certificate of Pool and Spa Barrier Compliance issued. The reinspection date is after the applicable lodgement due date.

A building permit has been issued for building work on the property where the pool or spa is located. The building work being carried out impacts the pool or spa area, and as such an inspection of the barrier would not be appropriate at this time.
