Bayside Library Service is committed to supporting digital learning in our community.
We offer classes, drop-in advice sessions and one-on-one help with using eResources like eBooks.
We also offer free use of public PCs and unlimited free Wi-Fi in all of our libraries.
Technology classes and presentations
The Library runs regular training and presentations on computers, the internet and tablet devices.
Please note that all in person training, is on hold until 2022. Training is offered online.

Bayside Library is proud to be a partner with Be Connected. Be Connected is an Australian Government initiative designed to help the community thrive in a digital world. Various online learning resources are available, including access to a Network of community partners, so you can develop your digital skills and confidence. The service is completely free to use and works entirely within your web browser.
Bayside Library is proud to be a partner with GoDigi. Go Digi is the place to learn about the internet and all the different things you can do online.
Stay In Touch
Join Jo Lambie for 'Tech Tip Tuesday'. Come along and enjoy a new tech tip each week, along with a laugh and chat with others.
If you have a question about your iPad, tablet or eReader, bring it along to a device advice session where a volunteer will help you out. Sessions are held monthly in the Brighton and Sandringham libraries.
No booking necessary, just come along.

If you need a helping hand to access our library eResources, including eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines, book a 30-minute session with one of our library tech support staff. They can assist with basic information to help download e-books and e-magazines on your iPad, tablet, e-reader or other device.

Computer bookings can be made over the phone or in person at any branch. Bookings can be made up to a week in advance for up to 2 hours. Visitors are provided a 7 day account on presentation of photo ID.

Free wireless internet access (Wi-Fi) is available at all Bayside libraries during opening hours with no time limit. Users under the age of 18 with a Wi-Fi enabled device will be considered to have parental permission to access the internet.
