Charging ahead
There are now more electric vehicle (EV) chargers available for public use at Council’s corporate office in Sandringham.
Following feedback from EV users, we have provided public access to our existing AC chargers outside of business hours. While the chargers are restricted to Fleet use between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, they are available to the public at all other times.
This is in addition of the Council’s DC fast charger which is available to the public at all times.
The public can access the chargers using RFID cards and will be charged 30c/kw.

Two more DC fast chargers are expected to be installed at the Corporate Centre next year.
