Immunisations made easier
We are rolling out our vaccination program for 2024 and parents will now be able to access greater control over their child’s immunisations.
As part of the program, we will be attending each Bayside school and offering all Year 7 and 10 students the opportunity to receive vaccinations.
Parents can now keep track of all immunisations and provide online consent thanks to a new statewide database developed by the Department of Health Victoria.
The dedicated link to this portal will be distributed by individual schools to the parents.
The secure portal will reduce the administrative load previously required to distribute, collect, and chase up consent cards, and ensure optimal access to these important vaccinations in a timely manner.
Free immunisation sessions
Vaccines are vital for ensuring babies and children are protected against preventable diseases.
We are running five free community immunisations sessions per month across Bayside and bookings can be made online.
