Mask up indoors

Following changes to COVID-19 restrictions announced by the Victorian Government, masks must now be worn in all indoor settings by Victorians aged 8 and up, except private homes.

This includes Council offices, libraries and gallery.

Masks must also be worn at major events attracting more than 30,000 people but can be removed while people are seated outdoors. You can read the Acting Premier's statement here.

Council’s mandatory vaccination policy continues to apply to all visitors aged 18+.You must be fully vaccinated to visit a Council building and show proof of your vaccination. To see the accepted forms of vaccination proof, visit the Victorian Department of Health website.

COVID-19 vaccinations are now available if you had your second jab more than 5 months ago. The Victorian Government is ramping up it’s delivery of the third jab so book your appointment today.

Remember the COVID-19 basics

With the easing of restrictions while case numbers are high, it’s up to all of us to be COVIDSafe.

This includes checking in wherever you go, wearing a mask when required, practicing good hand hygiene and getting tested if you have any symptoms.
