See what our friendly librarian Natasha loves to read
We caught up with our Heritage Librarian Natasha to see what she loves to read and why she enjoys working with us at Bayside.
How long have you worked at Bayside Libraries?
I’ve been with Bayside Library for almost 17 years. My current role as a Heritage Librarian is to contribute to the management, preservation and access of Local History and family history collection.
Why do you love working at Bayside?
I love that Bayside has a rich and fascinating history with lots of famous (or not so famous) but still remarkable historical personalities and our library is the perfect place to explore it. I love that I am able (most of the time) to help our customers with their research, allowing them to find out more about their ancestors, history of the area or house history.
What are you currently reading?
“A Deadly Game. A Reggie da Costa mystery” by Laraine Stephens.
What is your favourite genre to read?
My favourite genre is a well-written non-fiction ranging from history and biographies to science. It gives you insights into real life events.
