New playgrounds to explore
We keep bringing the fun to Bayside with two more playground upgrades now complete. Head on down to Basterfield Park South in Hampton East to climb, swing, and slide to your heart’s content on the new colourful Playtime Square. The old multi-play structure has been replaced with a shaded climbing unit that provides challenging play opportunities for all ages. We are talking not one but TWO slides, monkey bars, climbing platforms and fine motor skill challenge boards.
Robert Grieve Reserve in Brighton may be small but the smiles will be big when the kids see this multi-unit structure that offers imaginative play experiences with a shop counter, car outline and telescope. Suited to younger children, this playground is a great stopover on the way to the shops or station.
Sadly, two playgrounds in our retrofit program Allambee Park and Bamfield Reserve have been hit with supply chain issues and equipment delivery delays - we look forward to opening these great new play spaces soon!
