New smart bins at Beaumaris and Brighton Libraries!
The new smart bins at Beaumaris and Brighton Libraries have now been installed, improving the library borrowing and returns process.
The smart bins have inbuilt RFID technology, enabling easy and efficient returns. When you return your items through the library chute, they will fall into the smart bin and automatically be returned to the library and removed from your account. This will enable you to reborrow available items immediately, reducing wait times.
You can view the status of your account in branch, or via the Bayside Library Services app, which enables you to search our catalogue, renew or reserve items and view our upcoming events.
The app is available via the App Store or Google Play.
