Share your thoughts on housing affordability

We're working with 12 other Councils to address housing affordability and homelessness

Bayside is working with other eastern and south eastern Councils to end homelessness and advocate for more social housing through the Regional Local Government Homelessness and Social Housing Group Charter.

The Group Charter is now seeking participants for a focus group on the topic of housing affordability. Your thoughts and experiences will help us better understand the views of the community on this important topic.

What to expect

Council staff will lead a focus group discussion about solutions to housing affordability in the areas which encompass Metropolitan East/Inner Metropolitan Southeast/Metropolitan South and ask you for your thoughts and suggestions.

Your participation is voluntary, and all contributions will be kept confidential.

Why participate?

Your feedback is important to us. It will help us to better understand the views of the community and ensure that housing affordability policies and programs meet community expectations.

We encourage people from all walks of life to participate to ensure the views of the community are well represented.

The focus group will be held on Thursday 23 November 2023, 11.30am - 1.00pm at the City of Kingston Council Offices, 1230 Nepean Highway Cheltenham.
