Temporary parking changes at Sandringham Family Leisure Centre

It’s half time on works to expand Bayside's basketball facilities with an extension to the Sandringham Family Leisure Centre Basketball Stadium in Tulip Street.
From 12 September 2022, we need to close access to the eastern carpark for up to four weeks so we can safely undertake the trenching and excavation required for the stadium services and new carpark lighting.
If you’re visiting the leisure centre during this time, please park on Tulip Street where all-day parking is available. On-site parking will be prioritised for DDA permit holders and drop-off zones (short-term parking), with some three-hours spaces available. Pedestrian access to all facility entrances will be maintained.
We appreciate our community’s understanding as we deliver this amazing facility to meet the current and future needs of Bayside basketballers.
There is unrestricted all-day parking available near the Centre on Tulip Street, Reserve and Park Road, as marked in blue on the map below.
